Office of the Chief Controller of Accounts, Accounts & Treasuries, Government of Mizoram, India

Accounts & Treasuries Department is established in the month of May 1975 and is headed by Cheif Of Accounts who is acting as Head of Department under the administrstive control of Finance Department, Gov't. of Mizoram. The Chief Controller of Accounts is assisted by 2 (two) Directors (DAT & DLFA), 3 (three) Joint Directors, 4 (four) Deputy Director, 9 (nine) Assistant Directors, 1 (one) Superintendent, 44 (forty four) AAO, 49 (forty nine) A.O (Treasury) and other officers & supporting staff. The office of Chief Controller of Acounts and Director (A&T) is located at MINECO, Khatla and the office of Director (LFA & Pension) is located at Chanmari (Ramhlun Road), Aizawl.

Besides, transfer and posting of the Accounts Officers and Asst. Accounts Officers posted in Departments of PWD, P&E, PHE, I&WD and UD&PA are made by Finance Department and the office of Chief Controller of Accounts respectively.

There are 8 (eight) Sections in the office of the Chief Controller of Accounts, Accounts and Treasuries, viz.

Establishment & Accounts Section.
Entitlements Section.
New Pension Scheme (NPS) Section.
General Provident Fund (GPF) Section.
Diarist Section.
Loan & Monitoring (L&M) Section.
Pension Section.
Audit Section.

Besides these, there is a Zonal Office at Lunglei headed by Joint Director (Southern Zone) and there are 14 (fourteen) District Treasuries under the Direction and Control of the Chief Controller of Accounts, namely :
